Need a studio for drum tracking in NYC area.

Regional activities, relevant news, job openings, studio searches, local beer nights (not a forum to plug the new album you just worked on)

Need a studio for drum tracking in NYC area.

Post by telefunky » Tue Jan 26, 2010 1:06 pm

I know this topic has been covered in the past, but the last time was a while ago so....

I'm looking for a studio in the NYC area that can track drums for under $50/hr. incl engineer. We will be overdubbing in Pro tools and a house kit is preferable.

Any suggestions/recommendations/links would be much obliged.

We are getting great drum sounds in our new space. We have a couple nice sets - including a really sweet 60's ludwig. We can track to PT.

Everyone is scared of small rooms but I think we get some of the best drum sounds in the neighborhood.
