Paul McCartney & Wings 1974 sessions revisited @ 1979...

Post by cjmnash » Tue Jul 13, 2010 7:09 pm

Please join the Nashville AES chapter and "Welcome To 1979" studio for a very unique event on Thursday July 15th at 5:30 PM.

Here's the scoop:

Ernie Winfrey, veteran Nashville recording engineer, revisits the Paul McCartney Wings sessions recorded at Nashville's Sound Shop in 1974. Ernie had the unique opportunity to work with former Beatle, Paul McCartney. Ernie will tell stories and open the floor to questions, moderated by Chris Mara. Plus, a special surprise will be in store for all in attendance.

Check out the AES website, http://aesnashville.org/news.htm or the Welcome To 1979 facebook event page at
http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=1 ... 087&ref=mf
for complete details.

Once again-

Where: Welcome To 1979 1110 48th ave north, Nashville, TN 37209
When: 5:30- 8:30 (ish)

Hope you can make it!

For the first time in my life I wish I were in Nashville. :D
Seriously, that sounds like a great time.
Please fill us in or, even better, record it!
