Recording Summit in Nashville Nov. 12th-14th

Post by MarcoPogo » Wed Oct 27, 2010 12:33 am

***Hello!

The 2d Annual Recording Summit will take place Nov. 12th through 14th at Chris Mara's Welcome to 1979 Studio. http://www.welcometo1979.com/
It really is a marvelous event: an intimate get-together and exchange of ideas, blissfully free of ego and commercialism. Last year was great fun, and this year's Summit will feature live recording and record production; panels on producing and mastering, turning internships into jobs, music business, studio story-telling, an in-depth discussion with Geoff Daking, and much more.

Participants include: Jason Lehning, Ray Kennedy, LARRY CRANE, Geoff Daking, Jay Franze, Lynn Fuston, Vance Powell, Tony SanFilippo ("Drumsound"), Rolff Zwiep, Carl Tatz, Steve Durr, our pal Chris Garges, Chris Huston, Joe Costa, Mike Spitz, Steve O'Brien, Eric Conn, Hank Williams, Tommy Wiggins, Dan Adams, Billy Livsey, Steve Tviet, Mark Hornsby, Yoli Mara, Dan Daley, Neal Cappelino, Bob Bullock, Ernie Winfrey, Marshall Green, Randy Blevins, Mark Prentice, (and some obscure bozo from Illinois). More participants besides, and many distinguished and wonderful people in the audience as well. Imagine how much assembled knowledge and wisdom this represents, and how difficult it would be to access in any other way. The cost is only $150.

See you there?
Cheers!

-MR
