Going to Boulder CO

Post by jspartz » Wed Dec 22, 2010 10:38 am

I am heading to Boulder between Christmas and New Years. It has been a while since I have been there. I am curious what I should check out. I understand that Robb's Music has closed. Any music stores worth checking out if I am interested in treasure hunting used gear?

Thanks!

I'll likely be between Loveland and Denver a bunch during that time. The Square State shop is in flux at the moment.

Robbs didn't close - they moved, they're now on 28th, I think.

Boulder Drum Shop is by the mall, worth a peek, if for nothing more than drooling on the Mardi Gras sparkle collection.

Wildwood guitar in Lousiville is also not bad.

Wind Over The Earth is by the airport, though they don't stock a whole lot, and know what vintage gems are worth.

Not going to Colorado this year (almost did, though). Is Rupp's still open?

Rupps is still there, but it's now owned by MassMusic.

Bob Rupp is now a Sabian rep.
