need some 2" reels baked on the reasonable Philly.

Regional activities, relevant news, job openings, studio searches, local beer nights (not a forum to plug the new album you just worked on)

I've got four 2" 24 track reels from 1990 that are shedding like mad and need a run through the oven so they can be transferred.

Anyone have a good option in the Philadelphia / NJ / DE / NY area.

You can do it yourself with a food dehydrator or convection oven at 130 degree's for 8 hours:

..and there's this place in NJ
http://www.sonicraft.com/

Sonicraft are very nice and helpful, but unfortunately are over my budget. I've heard the 130 degrees in an oven thing, but I know that my oven is not very precise and I would really hate to screw this up as there are no backups nor is there a good mix from these reels.

Any other ideas?

Right. You can not use a conventional cooking oven because the temperature is not steady.

It has to be a convection oven. ... or a food dehydrator which should be under $100. You just have to make sure it fits the 2" reel or do a modifation to do so. 130 degree's for 8 hours. flipping once.
