2013 Producer/Engineer Summit at Welcome To 1979

Post by cjmnash » Wed Aug 21, 2013 8:36 am

Hey Kids!

It's that time of year again- we've just opened up registration for our 5th Annual Producer/Engineer Summit at Welcome To 1979 Studios in Nashville, TN. The first 25 people who sign up get a free 25' mic cable from Redco Audio. (only 15 left!)

This year we're doing a bunch of really cool things- for example - since we've added a cutting lathe we'll be doing demonstrations in the lathe room throughout the weekend, as well as doing a direct to disk recording as part of our Friday night kick off party.

Lots of other things planned- including a killer Saturday night listening party.

More info and sign up info here:

I might be in Nashville around this time.

If so I'll try to go visit.

Cheers.
Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.

Thanks Tony. Right now I am waiting on artists and producer's schedules
to determine when we are doing an album over there. Will be fun.
Can't name names... yet.

When it's closer, I'll et you Nashville guys know when I'm there, so you can show me a little southern hospitality.

Cheers!

Nick, if you make it to the summit, you will love it. It is "a great hang."
Chris, trying to get there again this year, but big thick stacks of show business money have not materialized of late. Plus, I keep buying gear...

Hey guys-- When you click Chris' first link above, scroll down to "Meet The Panelists."
Look at the top photo, and you can "Meet the Back of My friend Bruce & My Head(s)" (tm).

He has the monk ring, my scene is clean...
