By many reports, a bit of a bamboozler and shister, at least in more recent years.
There was a local DJ, years ago, named Gary Storm. He had a program called "Oil of Dog," and his opening theme was always Kim Fowley's "I Hate You," mixed in with some dog barking, howling and baying. My dad didn't always understand the "crazy kids and their loud music and long hair," but he heard that song once and cracked-up in a genuine display of laugh out-loud hilarity, so I'll always remember Fowley for that...
