Assistant Engineer Needed

I'm looking for someone to step into a full-time paid position at a busy top-tier recording studio in Manhattan. Main duties include supporting first assistant, and chief engineer in the day to day operations of the studio. this is an opportunity for growth for the right person willing to go above and beyond.

The ideal candidate has been in a general assistant/production assistant/assistant position for a year or more and wants to start assisting more or engineering sessions.

Need:

? At least 1 year experience working in a recording studio
? Spent time working on large format consoles
? Pro Tools knowledge, speed and overall expertise a MUST
? Editing/tuning skills essential
?? Understanding of studio intricacies and artist/client/producer relations
? Above all, the passion and ability to learn, and create good music on a daily basis
? Good references a must
