We are currently looking for instructors who can teach one or more of the following disciplines:

Music Recording / Production
? Significant music recording, mixing and mastering experience
? Large-format analog console production experience
? Small-format digital console and worksurface experience
? Extensive digital audio workstation knowledge including Pro Tools and Logic Pro X
? Significant analog tape recording experience
? Expert knowledge of analog and digital audio processing tools
? Expert knowledge of contemporary and historical microphone techniques
? Knowledge of using MIDI and virtual instruments in Pro Tools and Logic Pro X
? Experience with synchronizing audio and video equipment


? 5.1 surround mixing
? Strong knowledge of media production management and industry practices



? Knowledge of industry documentation practices

Audio Post Production
? Post production editing for film and television
? Digital Audio Workstations including Pro Tools
? Use of sound libraries
? Dialog editing and voice over recording 


? Surround 5.1 mixing
? Experience with synchronizing audio and video equipment


? Music recording and mixing experience
? Knowledge of using Midi and virtual instruments in Pro Tools
? Knowledge of industry documentation practices
? Strong knowledge of media production management and industry practices





Studio Maintenance
? High-level and wide-ranging knowledge of professional audio and video production equipment, including associated computer systems and programs such as ProTools, FinalCut, Logic, Apple Operating Systems, etc.
? High-level and wide-ranging knowledge of: audio studio wiring, video production equipment, professional lighting and projection systems, and general products such as TVs, etc. including best-practices for their install and use.
? Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
? Knowledge of IT networking and A/V systems integration.

Requirements:
Master's degree required in any field from an accredited college or university, and at least four years professional experience.

All candidates must be capable in the following areas:
? Teaching methodologies
? Strong presentation skills


? Student support & advising


? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
? Working effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
? Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects.
? Knowledge of college personnel systems
? Fostering a cooperative environments
? Developing and maintaining record-keeping systems and procedures
? Analyzing and solving problems
? Communicating projects and deadlines to students as well as ensuring those deadlines are met
? Must be physically able to perform all duties above.
