My friend was the tech for Scotts late band, the Wildabouts guitar player who also died this year.

I just watched that Christmas video with him and he looked like he was struggling. That's sad, drugs are sad when they take control of you like they appear to have done with him.

In junior high I went to school with his step brother in El Dorado Hills and he was super cool. Scott was talented and STP definitely had a similar sound to the grunge thing that was going on but they had a style I thought was distinct from Nirvana or Pearl Jam.
