Thanks GJ, but admittedly a relief as I personally don't think being a shell of your former self in a nursing home makes being 95 worth anything. She was doing well and living on her own up until she was almost 94 though.

Understood, and your gram's independence was awesome. I lost both my mom and dad this past year; both in separate placements, and not at all the people that raised me... My mother made it to 86, though.
