Visiting Houston, TX this weekend

Post by alexdingley » Tue May 01, 2018 9:35 am

In TX for work all week, and I'll be spending Friday through Monday in Houston, TX. Definitely gonna have time to kill, and would love some advice on any of the following:

• Good spots to scope out used music gear
• Great venues for live rock music... Are there Ary good blues spots that I should check out?
• Really good comedy clubs
• Super good coffee-snob joints
• Any studio folk that wanna give a studio tour / need setup help for a session / wanna grab a beer — seriously, I'm gonna be kinda bored by Sunday — would totally consider volunteering as a studio assistant for a cool session, if the vibe is right ...and (I'll go ahead and say it) if your client isn't weirded out that you invited a stranger from the internet to your studio :D
