I was lucky enough to attend a lecture of his at Capitol Studios, and to have a few mutual friends.

He was always generous with hi knowledge.

He basically made what modern Jazz records sound like almost single handedly.

Here is but some of his discography. Allmusic, bless them, simply never gets it all correct. He has 27 Grammies and other awards, not seven as it states there.
