Billy Conway of Morphine fame passed earlier this week.

Morphine was one of my fave bands, wonderful live; I think he was the second drummer, both in time and at times, altho' I think I saw 'em with Dupree.

(Sandman is a big influence for me.)

Conway was in Twinemen with Colley, a very cool kinda progression from Morphine - the official live bootlegs are a treat.
