Historic Studio Tours

Post by CraigS63 » Sun May 15, 2022 5:48 am

I am curious which recording studios of note have tours set up for the general public (well, myself anyway, the public is on their own).

I went to Sun Studio back in the late 80's with my parents, that was nice. It was much smaller than I'd imagined. We got some sort of combined city tour/Graceland tour. Pro tip: Memphis is hot and humid in the summer.

I'm local to Chicago, I really should make a point to see Chess Records:

Abbey Road is on my bucket list, but not happening any time soon. I don't know how often it's opened up for tours:
