Songwriting: Jeff Tweedy book "How To Write One Song"

Post by CraigS63 » Sat Mar 02, 2024 6:31 am

I just finished this (found at my newly discovered public library), there are a lot of great ideas in here. I am not very familiar with Wilco or his other projects, but the book isn't necessarily just for fans. It's not too wordy, either.
I have been doing the "RPM Challenge" for 17 years now, and always get hung up on lyrics and vocals, and the vocal melody writing/performing. Maybe it helped a little reading this book first this year.

Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.
