Damn. Definitely was an influence on me to pick up a guitar, and that was in the late 80's!

For me, he made it OK to solo on the low strings, with naught but overdrive and reverb and mebbe some tremolo and a whammy bar = simple way to get happy.

I guess we just gots to rumble on.
