Jimi: Himself - The Home Recordings

A friend of mine just floated me a disc of this rare Hendrix stuff. Recorded on a tape deck at home(?), hotel rooms, etc.

It sounds amazing (seriously) and is just crazy to listen to Jimi by himself laying down demos of these songs. Really cool.

Anyone else check this out?

Jeff

This CD was included with a hardcover comic book about Jimi about 10 years ago. As far as I know, it was the only legit way to get it.

Comic book??

Seriously? I thought it was just kind of a quickie bio, but with lots of pics and of course the Cd, but I could certainly be wrong, having never actually seen it.

I did just order it used from Amazon, though, hoping to get the Cd....interesting if true about the comic book thing.
