Has anyone listened to this record?
It's produced by Joe Henry.
Very sparse instrumentation that lets the songs shine through.
The simplicity of the songs is astonishing...They just have so much emotional power!
She strikes me as a female Neil Young on this record.
I highly recommend it!

Thanks for the rec, I will check it out. I've heard her stuff in the past and liked it.

Also, now that No Depression is history, us alt-country fellas need to keep the others up to date!

I'll check it out. I sure do love "Mercy Now" and "I Drink" Astoundingly great country songs.
