hey thanks for checking that out CG.cgarges wrote:Roh Delikat- Deaf + Dear (Expanded Remix Edition)- not yet avaiable publicly, but still kicks ass!
this is actually the remixed/mastered version of our second record 'sunny', originally released in 2006. i messed up the first version BAD and was never happy with it. we broke up shortly after its release...and reunited a couple months ago. i took that as an opportunity to fix the damn thing and it sounds the way it's supposed to now. and it is in fact available here:

The Best of Leonard Cohen; not a good vocalist at this point (I like his voice now), but what a writer!
Interpol's latest; I'll letcha's know.
Santana & McLaughlin, Love, Devotion ...; a fave of the time and place, especially the 'Trane stuff.
Steve Wynn, Here Come the Miracles; Schumacher produced this - it's a great collection from one of my fave artists.

Yep, it's a trip.
Seems they got to drinkin' together or sompin' else (one song is actually called, "Cowboys Do More Dope") and decided they had stuff in common enough to record.
So, apparently, they did so over a cuppla years, Pantera with Coe and a cuppla country guys on steel and piano here and there ...
It's odd, funny, entertaining and, odd.
But it rocks.
I was never a Pantera fan, but I can see the appeal, especially Dimebag (hella right hand), RIP, and this was released posthumously.
It work like how, mebbe Jason and the Scorchers, or even Earle when the Dukes was really hard, do/did, except it's country and actual metal.
And it's better than just a gimmick, for all its oddness.
Coe, who I was not too familiar with beyond a cuppla songs, is interesting; I may never buy a Pantera record, butt I will get me some Coe.
