I guess I should contribute.

This was intended to be a demo but ended up on vinyl a few years ago. Recorded in a kitchen. Drums, amps, guitars, recording equipment, everything was terrible.

Come on guys! Share some "bad" sounds. The Anal Cunt stuff was great! Sometimes the most interesting records are the most "poorly" recorded ones. EX: Records by, The 13th Floor Elevators, Teengenerate, Dead Moon, Lollipop Shoppe, The Fall, Flipper, Guided By Voices, The Germs, Pavement, the list NEVER ENDS.
When I say the worst sounding records I mean that with love. I enjoy checking out projects here in the "listen to my stuff" forum and I would very much enjoy hearing some efforts in the not so hi-fi realm. For no reason really.

Those drums sound horrid on my small speakers here. Good job!
Mine was actually recorded in Rochester, NY back in 1994-5.
Can't remember who the hell was playing the second guitar and turning the knobs on the effects unit. I thought it was my friend Jeff and his Ibanez 3 in one pedal deal? I was there but who freakin' knows. Gotta love those jams.
I've got a lot more strangeness from those days.
Weird and wild.
We ran TONS of stuff inline into 12 channel mixers, then out to a ghetto blaster for monitors. Dangerous amount of cabling.
Recorded on Denon 3 head deck with *Metal* tape (what else!) Everybody crammed into a small room and wailed.
There is a cool "noise" scene in Albuquerque. Check out Sick Sick Sick records/distro in Corrales.
The Kleptones "Meet The Beatless" is a good one.
http://sick.musicnerve.com/ (2nd from bottom) free download of the whole thing.
"The 3rd release from the Kleptones "collage band". This was the first group who was called "The Kleptones". Since then, others have rightly stolen the name."

Firing another salvo...
Situation: ....17 beers later at 4am.
Chris is asked...."What song ya wanna record?"
He blurts out....."You Shook Me All Night Long!".
http://thewilddisciples.bandcamp.com/tr ... sings-acdc
Awesome "alternate" tuning on Tim's pink Washburn rock stick.
Neck was broken off guitar. I fixed it with super glue and sanded ala Eddie V.
It normally stayed in tune. Have no idea why it was way out at that exact moment.
The New Sound Of Digital. Matt's Black Sabbath:
3am. Another non-singer drinking fiend asked to step up and belt one out.
http://thewilddisciples.bandcamp.com/tr ... ck-sabbath
Come on with some more people. If you say you never recorded anything bad...YOU ARE LYING.
No excuses. No mercy. Drop the bombs.
