I've been recording with a buddy the next time zone over since 2007. We started off on CDBaby, which we're still using - but we've also been on Bandcamp for a little while now. We've just released remixes from across our eclectic catalog, as the earlier tracks were done on a bit of a DAW learning curve
We sent all the multitracks off to
Cali for more professional results.
CDBaby is great as an aggregator - but Bandcamp is much more flexible as far as file format for digital downloads.
So, have a listen!

Some of you liked the demo I posted previously and we just completed the full 10 track EP (comes in about 7 minutes). It's up for free download w/ a digital booklet. Fast, angry punk/hardcore/grindcore type stuff, not for everyone I know but hopefully some of you enjoy it.

I thought I'd post my band Collecting Space's new record 'Subside here. I learned a lot about recording and guitar here and many various places online, so I figured that you guys would appreciate where I'm coming from. I recorded the whole album myself short of the drums, which we did at a 'real' studio. It was mastered by Jon Fintel here in Columbus, OH. It's posted on Bandcamp as a pay what you want download. If you like it but don't have any money to pay for it, I'd rather that you have the music anyway.
Here's the link -

We've been playing shows around Columbus to promote it, and we're using any profits from the downloads towards a physical release of 'Subside'.

My band Witch Feet just released a new single on our Bandcamp page:

Bandcamp is amazing and so much better than any of the other services IMO.

Well this is the stuff I trawled through TapeOp religiously for.
My own band and the first time I'd engineered as well as all the other hats I was wearing. It nearly broke me but I am happy with the results.
And without the high level of advice and inspiration on here, it wouldn't be half as good!
