Here's some cuts from a live show I recorded in Auria. Used the direct outs and insert taps from a Mackie 1604VLZ into a Presonus 1818VSL with ADAT in from a Steinberg MR816 for 12 tracks in at once on an iPad2. I mixed in Logic Express with some UAD plugs.
It was a bit distracting recording, playing, and doing live sound, but I thought it turned out decent enough to make some CDs to sell at the next show.

Certainly good enough for CDs to sell at the next show! I've had good and bad luck with recording live, these are better than the results I've usually had! I usually have pretty bad luck with vocal bleed, though I guess this music doesn't have absolutely blasting drums so I'm sure that helps. But great sounds overall, very smooth vocals that totally lack sibilance, the plugged-in acoustics sounds not terribly distracting like they can often get, and the drums aren't ridiculously present but don't seem like they need to be, they're there in a great way just to provide the rhythm. Nicely done.
