TOMB Beach Boys comp?

Post by mjau » Mon Aug 07, 2006 6:57 am

(Chris...if this is the wrong forum, let me know and I'll repost elsewhere.)

Any interest in putting together at TOMB Beach Boys comp? Pick a cover, maybe even collaborate w/ other TOMBers, and see what happens...?

If so, I'm calling Dennis' gem Little Bird, from the Friends album.

Yeah, so if there's any interest, post here and let's see if we can make something happen.

If we ever get the TOMB Abbey Road thing from 4 years ago happening, I'm sure whatever we do next will be great.

The Abbey Road comp was sweet-- at least my memories of it are. I think my version of Oh Darling is still floating around on some mp3 site...

Anyway, if you guys do a Beach Boys comp, I want Little Pad from Smiley Smile.

I think about 2/3 of the songs were recorded and posted. I did "Carry That Weight" but don't remember who all did what else.

I would be into it.

I've been working on a cover of "I Wanna Pick You Up."

I'd be down for it, but I can't promise good singing or good harmonies.

I want to do either "California Girls" or "In My Room." C'mon guys, we all know the Beach Boys sucked after 1964
