The biggest bummer about Joe Meek is that most of his recent compilations are completely suffocated with noise reduction. The best one is It's Hard To Believe It: The Amazing World Of Joe Meek, which was remastered by Steve Hoffman. The box set has an incredible song selection, but really suffers because of the NR.
