Depends where you live, apparently. Middle America, esp. Michigan, they're huge.Tatertot wrote:... but Rush isn't exactly overrated...nacho459 wrote:

I haven't seen any Rush fans for a while in my area. I think they're migrating to Dream Theater. I'd rather listen to Rush than Dream Theater. Seriously. At least I can usually get a chuckle from Rush. Plus, Geddy's work on the Mackenzie Brothers record was sweet. Take off!dwlb wrote:Depends where you live, apparently. Middle America, esp. There's a new Rush album out now, I guess. I saw a review of it somewheres. The review didn't exactly 'overrate' the album though.
There's an old Rush video from the 1980s that I enjoy. I think it's "Time Standing Still". At the end, there's a shot of a german shepherd against a background of mid-Canadian winter bleakness. I'm thinkin' that's gotta be the personal dog of one of the band members.
Geddy Lee's appearance on the Bob/Doug McKenzie LP record is superbly priceless.
