Is This Song Ready For Radio?

Post by akg414 » Tue Jul 17, 2007 8:02 am

Thanks to everyone's helpful feedback, we remixed our song and submitted it to the radio contest!

To those who offered their assistance - and to those who just simply like our song, maybe you'd like to help us get into the "finals" - by voting for our song - on WZZO's website? There are ONLY 36 bands - and they pick the top 5 - so any help from you guys would be GREATLY appreciated! All you have to do is join the WZZO workforce and then you can vote for us. It takes like a minute...

If we get picked, we get to play at the Great Allentown (PA) Fair. It's a huge gig - and there will be record-people watching. This would be an excellent example of how to actually see the forum's collective knowledge helping someone achieve their goals.

We're "The Secret System" - and our song is "Seems So Logical".

Thank you So Much!

That snare is way too loud, for starters.... still listening...

the snare is ridiculuously loud, agreed.

there's also some phase issues going on there, but that could be a deeper problem. I'd say turn your overheads and toms in to 9 and 3 o clock to minimize how obvious it is.

I took a listen to it - and YUP, you guys are right. Thanks for picking that out. By the way, the song goes well with your avatar!

I agree about the snare. I just want to say how uncanny it is to see that avatar lock in with the song.
