Here is a short interview that has some interesting comments on the recording background for each track. I am VERY happy with this new LP and never really got into Spoon before hearing it.

i haven't been so crazy about a new record in a long time. i know people say stuff like this a lot, but every time i listen to it i hear stuff i never noticed before. and none of it seems superfluous or buried. just taut, clever production.
