Everything sounds great to my ears -- all the parts are clear, and some great guitar and drum sounds. Nice punch on the kick, but would maybe like to hear a little more snare.

If I were to suggest one thing, the vocal sound is appropriate for the tune, but sounds less up front than the drums and guitars, like the singer is in the back of the band's stage setup. It's not really a question of volume, more of "presence" in the front of the mix. Maybe some sound stage panning changes could bring it out a little more?

Nice work!

Both these songs sound really solid to me. I would agree that more snare would be a good thing. On "Just Another Day" in particular... Otherwise, I think your mix really fits the song feelwise (is that a word?). Good stuff.

I guess more snare wouldn't hurt. Sounds to me like myspace ruined another good mix with the crappy mp3 player.

I think you've done a great job here.

A couple of things that could really help make an impression, to me, would be:

The snare tone:
In the verse, especially, its a bit "boinky." I'd find the boink and notch it out. The snare could also use some automation so that its not poking out so much in the quieter parts.

Vocal level:
Vocals are on the edge of being to quiet, IMO. For this sort of song, I think you could easily push the vocals up at least 2 db. They are well performed and deserve to be out front as this is what people are going to listen to.

Guitars:
The distorted guitars come in sort of loud and are panned so hard that it feels strange. I'd tuck them in a bit and give them a little bit of a triplet delay to tie them down.

Toms:
The toms seem to be panned hard which makes them stick out in a funny way.

Otherwise, this sounds great. Good song!
Let me mix your music!
