yeah, there was a thread about this. I'm not convinced it was a sample-rate issue.

I think what happened is Ed is playing a guitar that is tuned to the wrong pitch for that song. He normally tunes 1/2 step down from A440. Maybe Jump is A440 that he has a special guitar for and there was a mixup.

The surest way to tell is if Wolfie is in tune with the synth, then its not the synth thats the problem. Hard to discern if the low end is coming from the bass guitar or synth (or both) but it sounds to me like Wolfie is in tune with the synth.

I agree, and that was my theory on the first (!) thread about this...that Eddie was handed the wrong guitar by his tech. The tempo of the song is the giveaway. If it were really a 44.1/48 problem the tempo would have increased by approx. 10 bpm, and this recording is pretty damn close to the tempo of the studio recording.
