Robert Wyatt - ComicOpera

Post by zachary » Wed Nov 14, 2007 10:25 pm

i was never an enormous soft machine fan, but i picked this up on vinyl a couple weeks ago, and i can't get over how wonderfully tasteful this album is, both production and performance wise. and reading about the album in wire has only made it more interesting... is any one else feeling the same way?

if you haven't heard it stereogum has a single up you can check out.

Yeah, this is classic Wyatt! I never liked Soft Machine either, but his solo stuff (as well as the things he did with Phil Manzanera) is great.

If you liked ComicOpera, you should check out Shleep...
