My band's record...

Post by lsn110 » Tue Dec 18, 2007 6:25 am

Guess I'm not looking for any suggestions (though I always take critiques) as this record is done, but I wanted to throw it out there for y'all to grab. We're giving it away. Not a novel idea these days, but our goal is to get people to hear it.

Here are the recording details.
Albumen-Sidewalks Melt
  • Tracking at Zippah by Ken Kokubo
Overdubs/Vocals/Mixing in my prior house's basement (dubbed the Peach Pit due to the horrid color of the walls) by Yours Truly
Mastering by Rob Christiansen, Brooklyn, NY
I could go into endless details, but it's sufficient to say that we tried to keep it fairly straightforward on this record, though we've found that these songs often exceed our abilities by one person.

You can get to the download from this page. There are also 2 minute sound samples on that same page (linked from CDBaby), so you can see if we're your kettle of fish.

Hope you enjoy...
Thanks,
Paul
