Mine was Steve Wynn's ...tick, tick, tick.

(Twilight Singers, NIN, QOTSA, the Stones, Ryan Adams, Mission of Burma, The Church, Nick Cave, Chris Whitley, Billy Joe Shaver, Frank Black, and  Buckcherry all got a lot of play, also, amongst others.)

I think I've played We All Belong by Dr. Dog more times than any other record this year, and I only got it a month or so ago.

Sparklehorse - Dreamt for Light Years In the Belly of a Mountain
Kelley Stolz - Below the Branches
Booka Shade - Movements
Beck - The Information

these are all in constant rotation, along with 2005's best, Mazarin's We're Already There.

I still haven't heard this yet... Does Steven Drozd contribute DRUMS to the record, or just keys and stuff?

Levon Helm's "Dirt Farmer"...

Oh, and +1 for Sparklehorse's "Dreamt for Light Years In the Belly of a Mountain"...

I couldn't get enough of Steve Earle's "Live at Montreux 2005" (released 7/2006) - dude's got something to say and a wonderful way of saying it!

That's easy.
Destroyer's Rubies by Destroyer. It sounds like heaven and the songs and words are incredible as well.
