Downside? Heresy! I can't wait to hear Blue Jeans. I love that tune.scott macdonald wrote: the downside to all this is that you have the same Neil Diamond song stuck in your heads for weeks.
I found a basic perc loop for Play Me yesterday while I was waiting for a session. Let's see how this goes...

If you mean the Captain Friggin' Kirk of American Music, yes. Yes he is.percussion boy wrote:

I might be able to host mp3's of the stuff. I don't know if we want to go with 16/44.1 files or if everyone would be satisfied to just have the mp3's available.
Thoughts?

So is this thing happening or what? Is there a list of taken songs? I want in. Maybe "Heartlight."

I'd love to see this thing happen. My May 1 proposed deadline is coming to bite me in the rear... I'm still shooting for it, but my instruments are in transition. I could still pull off a vox/acoustic deal, though.
Like I said before I could probably host mp3's. I don't have the bandwidth or server space to deal with uncompressed files.
How about this:
We'll have a window of submission (good band name). Open to all. From May 1 through May 14. After that, I'll upload all the files to a central page for public perusal/snickering.
Sound Ok?
BTW-- I'm glad I missed the Andrew Lloyd Weber thing. Not a fan. Andrew Lloyd Weber is the Wal-Mart of the rock opera.

You should probably just take the wheel and tell us that's the timeline.mikeyc wrote:We'll have a window of submission (good band name). Open to all. From May 1 through May 14. After that, I'll upload all the files to a central page for public perusal/snickering.
