My girlfriend's song featuring TapeOp Members JefffM & p

Post by Sean Sullivan » Sat Mar 01, 2008 9:18 pm

Awhile ago I posted a song by my girlfriend featuring her vocals, myself on guitar and a gearslutz member on drums. Now the song features JefffM on bass and slide and pwrb on organ. Check it out!

I'm getting the error:

"YOU ARE CURRENTLY CONNECTED TO OUR SYSTEM WITH THE FOLLOWING IP ADDRESS: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

THIS ADDRESS HAS DOWNLOADED A TOTAL OF 1251MB IN THE LAST HOUR ALREADY."

It also says:

"Please note that some ISP's make their users share the same IP address"

so I guess that's the problem.

Could you Email me a copy as I'd really like to gear it with the organ.

Jeff

Dude.

This is soooo much better than the last time you posted this song.

Is this a new vocal take as well? I haven't listened to the old version in ages.

Same vocal take, I haven't had a chance to redo any of the vocals. No auto-tune or anything either...maybe just some better compression and reverb?

Thanks a lot, I think it is really coming together, but it's time to move on to other songs for awhile.

Jeff, I don't get the error message, but PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send it to you.

It was nice to hear this, because it gives me more of an idea of the bass sound you are going for. I'm going to do my best to match that tone.

Nice man, good work, you really brought it together well. The organ really adds something, good stuff.

Whoa, cool. Just heard this. You're off and running, Sean - tracks sound nice.
Since I didn't have a pedal or easy way to regulate the organ levels, my suggestion would be to gently ride it up and and down in the mix so it's not so static and helps things ebb & flow a bit more.
I dig her voice!
