Songwriting Contest

Post by TomS » Sat May 17, 2008 3:48 pm

Hi,
Flavio Antonioli, the creator of n-Track, is running a songwriting contest over at ntrack.com, with some nice prizes from, inter alia, PSP, Manytone, Soundclick.com, and, of course, n-Track. More info at the n-Track forum, here (just look for the sticky in the "n-Track studio music" forum):

http://ntrack.com/ntrackforum/

and here:

Please pass this along to anyone who might be interested.

Thank you!
Tom Spademan

Hey Folks, I wanted to prod anyone here who has not entered our fine songwriting and recording contest over at www.fasoft.com to do so ASAP; the contest runs through the end of the month. We've added a couple more fine prizes that go very well with the unequalled drum progie JamStix. Visit the n-Track forum for more info. Here's the list so far:

One SoundClick one year VIP membership. That makes you a VIP!

Three Full Downloads from n-Track.com of n-Track Studio ver. 6. (Three folks will win one each.)

One of 3 n-Track Studio ver. 6 Upgrades. (Three folks will win one each. Duh.)

One PSP MixPack2. http://www.pspaudioware.com/plugins/mix2.html

PSP stuff is fabulous.

ManyStation from Manytone. http://www.manytone.com/manystation.html

ManyGuitar from Manytone. http://www.manytone.com/mgdescription.html

Manytone's stuff kills.

From Sweetwater.com: Line 6 GearBox Gold Bundle
Amp, Effect, and Preamp Modeling Plug-in Bundle with USB DI Interface - Mac/PC VST/AU/RTAS http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/GearBoxGold

Sweetwater rocks!

An MXL 990 Condenser Microphone with Shockmount.

As part of this prize: An ART Tube MP Studio Mic Preamp.

(These two are together!)

It's easy to enter, instructions can be found on the n-Track forum; go to www.fasoft.com and follow the links.

The contest blurb linked above doesn't seem to say how much of the song demo has to be done in n-tracks. Or can we use something else?

Not a lot of n-track discussion around here. It's usually Reaper at the low budget end, and all the usual suspects at the pricey end.

There is no requirement that n-Track be used for anything, although the developer would like it if you'd sign up for the infrequent emails about new versions. Really, this is merely raising awareness, as low pressure as it gets.

Thanks, PB!
