i haven't seen decline.... in ages. that movie is alternately hilarious and depressing. the scene where chris holmes from wasp is all wasted in his swimming pool whilst HIS MOM is sitting right there? that shit is SAD.
wilco movie is good.
spinal tap is still holding up really really well. even funnier than i remembered.
any movie featuring metallica is worth your time.
rattle and hum is pretty great...my favorite:
BBKing: i don't play chords you know, we gon' have to get someone to play the chords
Bono: oh edge can do that.
the tom petty movie is really great. can't recommend that one enough.

And the next moment, where Bono turns and mutters under his breath, "I think there's only two..." is priceless.

Some good recommendations here...I'll give a +1 and a to a couple lesser known pieces mentioned here; Dogs in Space and Hardcore Logo. In fact, I've gotta see Hardcore Logo again. As classic as Spinal Tap is, I'd have a hard time choosing which one I think is "better". The very dark humoured quality of Hardcore Logo is great and it's so dry at points, that for a second you might forget it's a mocu-mentary.
Also, a +1 on that bonus studio footage on Grizzly Man.
The Can documentary that comes with the DVD set that was released a few years ago is pretty great for the Krautrock fans in the crowd.
It's almost more of a concert film, but Storefront Hitchcock is pretty cool. I recently saw the Townes Van Zandt documentary and can very, very highly recommend this. It definitely inspired me to dig more deeply into his music and is a really sympathetic portrait.
The Flaming Lips documentary, 'The Fearless Freaks' is soooo great too. A must see!

A couple of people have mentioned Spinal Tap but I love A Mighty Wind as well (many of the same cast but this time as bands from the 60's folk boom).
School of Rock with Jack Black is a lot of fun.
I've always had a soft spot for the Blues Brothers (up until the car chase).
O Brother Where Art Thou doesn't have as much music as some of the other movies but what there is is really integral to the plot.

Does Rocky Horror... count?
It counts.
time is fleeting.
madness...takes its toll.
