An album that missed me back in the day... Television's "Marquee Moon".

Total fave, a big influence! I really like both guitarists and their solo stuff.

Today was Uchoobin' some recent Stones vids (do look up, "Doom and Gloom", getta lotta Roony Mara fix) and wartchin' The Linda Lindas on KEXP-choob.

It was a fun listen.

Followed up today with another inexplicably missing album, that Big Star one. Also enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm not sure how to place these albums, they do have the quality of being a little outside of any specific era.

that Big Star one.
I actually think "Columbia," the live record done when they re-formed in the '90s, is really damn good. And I'm not much of a fan of live records.

Great album.
Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.

Damn, I am totally jelly. I would love to rediscover Television and Big Star.

I've been listen to a project I sort of put on hold a year ago. Time flies...
