Deathspell Omega

Here's a new track from an upcoming release by one of my favorite band/projects ever. I'm (morbidly) curious to know what TOMB thinks of this kinda thing, so have at it.

I just discovered this band a few weeks ago. I really like it. Does it have some sort of link to Gorguts? For some reason I thought that... I like weird technical metal stuff.

No relation to Gorguts, as far as I know. I have a hunch there is some relation to Abigor, but that is only an educated guess.

You know, it's funny. If I had posted the board's 219th thread about OTB-vs-ITB summing, this post would have five pages of vitriolic responses. Instead I ask people to check out some (in my opinion) really amazing, forward-thinking music, and it's a ghost town. Are our priorities that out of whack?

I don't think there is any Abigor / DSO connection. I know that Abigor was involved with Summoning.

Don't get too bent out of shape about the low response. DO isn't for everyone, but analog vs. digital? Shit, everyone's got something to say about that.

I find DO to be a long banquet table, pouring with plates of feasts. Only a few of which I really like, but even those portions are exquisite.
