I've got a novel/music project going that needs your help

Post by sad iron » Sat May 21, 2011 4:29 pm

Hey all,

I don't get to TOMB as much as I used to, but that's mainly because I've been working my tail off with a bunch of stuff, including finishing my first novel and getting it out into the world. I'm doing it a little differently; the main character is a singer/songwriter who's hit a rough patch and heads back to his hometown. I decided to write some of his songs that are mentioned in the book and package them together with its release.

I've started a Kickstarter to help me fund the project. Maybe you could head over and check it out? I you're into supporting, that'd be great. If you can't but would spread the word, that'd be awesome.

Here's the link: http://kck.st/iZCxg6

Thanks! Hope this finds you all well and putting your studios to great use.

I'll take a look! I think Kickstarter is a fantastic idea, and try to support what I can.

Thanks, man. If you can support that'd be awesome, but if not, a shout on facebook would be great too!

This is the first time I've written music to order (sort of). Should be interesting to see how it goes.

Aiight, I done it, too.

Yers is the second kickstarter I'm in on; my buddy's daughter's band (The Crane Wives) was the first.

Good luck!

Thanks, man. Crested $1100 tonight with the help of you folks. I'm super excited. I never thought stuff would move this fast. The generosity of others is really overwhelming.

Thanks, man. 111% funded. I'm just beside myself. Kickstarter is amazing. Thanks to everyone for the support!

If the pledges keep coming I'll have some extra dough for ads and maybe even distribution.

Amazing.

All righta! Well, only a few days left on the Kickstarter and I'm at 140% funded. This is awesome. I know some of you guys pledged and I just wanted to say thanks again here.
