Perhaps and Perchance
c. '11 The Friday Project

Perhaps and perchance
I have some thing you want
Perhaps and perchance
Perhaps and perchance
I have something even better
Perhaps and perchance

We oughta get together
You and me

Perhaps and perchance
You got something I dream of
Perhaps and perchance
Perhaps and perchance
We could fall in love
Perhaps and perchance

We oughta get together
You and me
Mebbe we can make each other better
Let's try and see

Perhaps and perchance
We gotta way to there
Perhaps and perchance
Perhaps and perchance
We gotta way to get home
Perhaps and perchance

We oughta get together
You and me
Mebbe we can make each other better
Let's try and see
We oughta get together
You and Drum JacoFretlessARTtps

The Friday Project

Chantily had her, a big old diamond ring,
Girl got up on the stage and, shook her
everything,
Laid it all out on the line, right there on the
stage,
Laid out it out pretty as you please, and then
she began to sing.
CH: And her heart it wanted to love,
And her body surely wanted to shag
Her brain was in pieces, tho',
She was fragged.
Lace, she was a dancer, wanted that
diamond ring,
Wanted to get up on the stage, be just
everything
Girl got up and took the ring offa Chant,
right there on the stage,
Pulled it off pretty as you please, Chantily
began to scream.
CH 2x: And her heart it wanted love,
And her body surely wanted to shag
Her brain was in pieces, tho',
She was fragged.
Bridge
Bopper he was the doorman, bought her that
diamond ring
Got up on the stage and tried to calm down
everything
Laid Lace out on the deck, yeah, right there
on the stage,
Laid out her out pretty as you please, and
left her there to bleed.
CH 3x: And her heart it wanted love,
And her body surely wanted to shag
Her brain was in pieces, tho',
She was fragged.

Spike Hotel
c. '11 The Friday Project

4
Lemme tell ya, Tommy,
Bright lights and a ringing bell,
Is how they getcha up in the mawnin',
Start ya up in living hell.
Ch: Set ya right back on yer heels it do,
like the bulls they like to tell,
yer goin' down for what ya did, son,
here in the spike hotel.
4
Yer gonna hate it, Tommy,
The food makes yer feet swell,
And you cain't get no pussy,
Here in living hell.
Ch: Set ya right back on yer heels it do,
like the bulls they like to tell,
ya goin' down for what ya did, son
here in the spike hotel.

And another thing, Tommy,
Lemme tell ya about the smell,
It's blood and testosterone, Tommy,
And well, it smells like hell.

Ch: Set ya right back on yer heels it do,
like the bulls they like to tell,
yer goin' down for what ya did, son,
here in the spike hotel.

Ch: Set ya right back on yer heels it do,
like the bulls they like to tell,
ya gone' down for what ya did, son
here in the spike hotel.

TFP feat. WRC: Garish Girl

Post by vvv » Fri Oct 07, 2011 3:25 pm

Garish Girl
c. '11 The Friday Project

It's a genuine gem, of a primal scream
It's the only thing you never heard or seen
before

It's a black-listed baby, no in between
It's a kinda thing you never heard or seen
before

It's a passionate part, of a unwholesome hole
It's a little thing you never heard or seen
before

It's a garish girl, of a lonely heart
It's a sorrowful thing you never heard or seen before

Bridge: She got the black boots on
Eye-liner, too
She listens to your song,
like she knows what you do, when she's gone

It's a garish girl, with a broken heart
And ya leave her behind and ya walk right out the door

Less Than Twenty
c. '11 The Friday Project

They took me high and they took me low
They took me back to the only place I know
to go
They took it out on me
They took it out of me

Ch: But I'll soon be back to the land of
plenty
I'll be out in less than twenty

I followed the plan and I got caught
I followed their man and someone was
bought
They took it out on me
They took it out of me

Ch: But I'll soon be back to the land of
plenty
I'll be out in less than twenty

SOLO
They took it out on me
They took it out of me
Ch: But I'll soon be back to the land of
plenty
I'll be out in less than twenty

You heard the sirens and you made the call
They hadda lawyer there but he couldn't
know it all
They took it out on me
They had it in for me

plenty
I'll be out in less than twenty

The two directly above were done in a few hours each; this one has taken weeks, Grankspoine's tracks being sent from England and he's a perfectionist!

Mr. Meter
c. '11 The Friday Project

I'll take you anywhere you need to be
I'll take you anywhere but not for free
You just sit there, don't get crazy
I'll take you anywhere, you pay my fee

You say you gotta get home to feed her
I don't care, I'm Mr. Meter

You just sit right there, sit right back
Ain't no worry, if it's time you lack
I'll hit the road, now don't you crack
I'll getcha there, just you relax

You say you gotta get home to feed her
I don't care, I'm Mr. Meter
You say you gotta get home to beat her
I don't care, I'm Mr. Meter

Everything's good, and everything's fine
I'll getcha home right on time
She won't know, long as I get mine,
Ya pay me off, I move down the line

You say you gotta get home to feed her
I don't care, I'm Mr. Meter
You say you gotta get home to beat her
I don't care, I'm Mr. Meter
You say you gotta get home and bleed her
I don't care, I'm Mr. Meter

I Could Only Guess
c. '11 The Friday Project

I crossed the bridge in the cold and blinding
rain,
Somehow I knew I would never be the
same,
As I made my way through narrow winding ?
streets,
Barely able to keep on moving my feet,
I was bleeding from a half a dozen places,
And in the windows the women hid their
faces,
The men were all down at the corner
taverns,
Drinkin' and consortin' with the local
slatterns,
----
From behind I could hear the opposition,
I hadda move to strengthen my position,
A bit of blood kept dripping in my eyes,
As thunder tore through the darkened skies,
I thumbed another cartridge in the cylinder,
And I ?dropped the thing as I tried to fill her,
From behind I could hear the opposition,
A bit of blood kept dripping in my eyes,
I thumbed another cartridge in the cylinder,
The shot came from somewhere to my left,
How far away I could only guess
How far away I could only guess

Jamesy
c. '11 The Friday Project

Stallions ride the ridges of yer mental-mountain-mind
The rain is coming down all the time
Women walk the hallways of yer
deeply-disturbed-dreams
Women like no one's ever seen
Eagles fly towards sunset in yer
eerie-iron-eyes
The remnants of all her feathery lies
Children run the staircases all up
round and round and round
The stories end with them hitting the ground

Jamesy, you know it pains me
to see you so lazy
Jamesy

Bullwhips crack like thunder in the
veiled verdant valley
Sounding loud as gunshots in an alley
Widows weep and gnash their teeth in the
dark and dusty desert
Mourning their dead who were not so clever
Waves wash up the coast line flooding
tiny torn-up towns
Storms are moving
round and round and round and round and round
And still, women walk the hallways of yer
deeply-disturbed-dreams
Women like no one's ever seen

Jamesy, you know it pains me
to see you so lazy
Jamesy

Tuff Enuff (You Ain't)
c. '11 The Friday Project

I see you standin' by the side of the road
I know you know enough that you ain't gotta be told
CH: You ain't big enough
You ain't ru-u-uff enough
And you certainly, you certainly ain't tuff enough
You seem me comin', son, you'd best step aside
You know I'll take your life before I'm satisfied
CH
They know not to interfere before this thing is done
And they mean it when they tell you, son, it's better that you run

Iggy Pop rubs one out with Marc Ribot! It's too good of an idea to not happen!
