Future By Now looking to play unusual venues

Post by andris » Tue Oct 04, 2011 11:54 am

I'm in a band called Future By Now with Blake Fleming (drummer for Dazzling Killmen, Laddio Bolocko, and the Mars Volta.) It's just the two of us, I'm playing a thumb piano, rhodes, and moog synth. We have been playing in upstate ny the past year, in art galleries, house shows, and in the woods (with a generator.) I'm hoping to set up a couple of shows in the northeast this winter and was wondering if anyone in the tapeop community might know of a venue that we could play at (we are looking for alternatives to bars/clubs.) Here's a video of us playing at Bruar Falls in brooklyn this past August http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30Pz1atA ... re=related

If you were near Nashville, I would set up a show to play together. This is great stuff. Enjoyed all 3 parts.
