Bunky Moon Live Video

Post by cgarges » Tue Dec 27, 2011 8:47 am

Hey guys,

For anyone interested in my band, Bunky Moon, here's the first official video from our album release show earlier this year. It was filmed at The Evening Muse in Charlotte and the audio was multi-tracked. I mixed the audio a few days after the show and there are no overdubs and no sound replacement. TOMB's own Scott Craggs mastered the audio.

This is our version of The Flaming Lips' "A Spoonful Weighs A Ton," which we decided to play since the Lips were playing in town that night. Hope you like it!

Thanks, guys! We're very happy with how it turned out. Can't wait to get the other ones done! I think the next one we're getting is "Boris The Spider" with Mitch Easter playing guitar with us. I'll keep you posted.

For anyone who's interested, we've got a couple more live videos up now. These are the officially-sanctioned, completed versions.

Here's our bass player's composition, "Hypermobility"

And here's us playing King Crimson's "Larks' Tongues In Aspic, Part 2"

Enjoy!

We should have more on the way soon.

Also, once you've watched those two videos separately, I suggest listening to them both at the same time, starting "Larks' Tonuges" about seven seconds after "Hypermobility."

Thanks, guys!

The version of "Maybe I'm Amazed" is one of the ones that's not supposed to be up there. The official version is actually being done right now. As soon as that one is completed, we're going to have all the unofficial versions removed, including that terrible, terrible "Editor's Cut" of "Hypermobility" that the guy who filmed it did.

Let me know if you continue to have problems with "Larks' Tongues." I've watched it a few times with no issues.
