Pricey at ~ $20 per album file but Kinks, Stones, or Wings through Laptop -> good convertor -> fine reproduction system or cans is an awesome almost rediscovery experience.
Even the teasers @ 44/16 or 48/16 show what careful mastering can do for old tapes.
Worth a listen, jazz and blues titles, too

i don't mind, but things stop me:
1) digital keeps sounding better and better, so an investment in current 24/96 or so may be outlived shortly
2) i pick mint vinyl playbacks 9/10 times than 24/96 copies of such, so i feel that vinyl masters in PERFECT shape still outchase 24/96
3) i don't mind 24/96, but current digital mastering trends still exist outside of the resolution they're presented in; sourcing and treating your master well is just as important as the resolution of the audio
so, i won't. until something beats vinyl for mass distribution...
although i will admit, vinyl is a PAIN, and will never rise again, but won't die until something takes it place for audiophiles and such.
