Beck Cover

Post by JakeGangstaFolk » Sat Mar 10, 2012 9:14 am

Hi everybody! This is my first post on here. Exciting, right?!
I thought I would introduce myself with a cover of Beck's "Where It's At". I just got this Hohner Pianet and I wanted to record something with it.
Questions and criticisms are very welcome!

I like it. I, too have always liked the sound of his electric piano sample on Where It's At. At least I assume it's a sample? Maybe a Wurly, or do you think it's a Rhodes?

Anyway...nice work. What is your recording setup?

I'm pretty sure he uses a Wurly, and i don't think it's a sample.

Thank you! I have an SM57 and ProTools. That's about it!
