Some notes:
Structure was indeed experimental herein, as was guitar sounds.
Re the latter I was going for the dirtiest I could use, Catalinbread Perseus, DOD Caracosa, Vick ’73 Muff, Zvex Super-Dooper, Wampler Ironhorse and Malekko Diabolik pedals were used – all are high gain and the first is octave-up, the last is a variation on the famous B:Assmaster pedal. I also sometimes used a Toadworks Meat,Jr. to push the distortion pedals. Guitar amps included a Blackstar Soloist and a Fender Bassbreaker 007.
The recording process was a DI (One Control Silver Peg) bass and drums jam.
Sometimes edits were made, some bass tracks were replaced (PF50t amp, and a Aguilar compressor and a EQD Hizimutas pedal for a solo), then vocs, then guitars added.
Some vocs was a Sterling Oceanway mic, some the new CAD E1000x. Various pres and compressors were also used.
