Here it is guys. I went to CRAS about 8 years ago. Got busy working a dead end job and making a family. This is the first thing I've recorded with own gear in my own space. Its not me, just a friend who like to write silly songs.
I would love constructive comments on all aspects.
I want to figure out how to convince him to he needs to play some things differently to work out the tempo changes.
Also I'm not sure what kind of percussion this tune needs but I feel like it needs something. I'm about ready to just record me slapping my leg.

castagnettes :E
seriously, i think they would work. and footstomping and clapping. or snare played with brushes + bassdrum and washtub bass
but i don't even know what americana really is or how it should sound like
recording sounds cool to me, pretty live sounding, nice guitarplaying too
the vocals are maybe a tad too roomy
