My third entirely-solo-album: The Fine Art of Embellishment

Take a listen!: https://soundcloud.com/calewilcox/sets/ ... ellishment

I had a borrowed pair of 421s for this project, and I fell in love with those mics. Most of the vocals and guitars are done on them. I played pretty much everything you hear (there's a percussion sample somewhere) and recorded it all in my band's practice space in my free time. Feel free to offer scathing critiques. :)

Oh, and the genre or style or whatever is like... alternative pop dub groovy schtuff. I listen to a lot of reggae and Paul Simon and Soul Coughing. And I'm a bass player first and foremost.

Midway through Interstate, excellent tune! Nice work. Recording sounds great.
Listening to the World in Love now, great tones! Can you talk about how you captured the various instruments?

You've got a lot of talent, kudos.
