Here's my new album, "Ebb Tide." Let me know what you think.

I like the swampy groove under Haunted House..

and a lot of the dreamy experimental sounds which I suspect are done best in analog.

On my initial listen I am not into your whispered / spoken vocal style where I have to struggle to hear the verbal message. I just jumped around like I was a DJ listening for the latest thing though.. could be the ambient approach would be nice to have a dinner party over etc..

I am thinking why do I like Iron and Wine and his whispered / spoken stuff ala "Upward Over the Mountain" and not your approach so much.

Still, lotsa good work and I hope it finds an audience.. good job!!

I really dig it. Sounds really great for bedroom recordings. Is that an MX-70?

Thanks! Yes, that's my trusty MX-70 16 track. I like your music too. I really like the pedal steel guitar on "Slow Trucks." Is that you playing?

Thanks! Ya it's me on the lap slide. Actually...It's me on everything.

You ever play shows down here in Portland?

Wow, I could have sworn that was a pedal steel. Are you doing bar slants? Yes, I just played at The Waypost last month. I'm trying hard to get out more and play, but it can be tough for a one man band.

I try to get fancy with bending the strings behind the slide and such. A volume pedal also helps get the pedal steel vibe.

Well, let me know if you play a show down here. It'd be fun to see a fellow tape-op'er.
