From August 2012 until March 2013, I was filling in for Pete from Creepoid while he moved from Philly to San Antonio, TX. I played 11 shows with them, some as a 4-piece, some as a 5-piece. Got to open twice for Black Moth Super Rainbow, play down at SXSW, do some touring, and play Union Transfer in Philly a few times. We split amicably after SXSW, as Pete decided to return to Philly, and the 5-piece thing was a little crowded live for both the van and the stage.

During those months I also ended up working with Kyle Johnson here in Philly (WAVVES, Modest Mouse, Bleeding Rainbow, Nothing) on this new record that comes out via No Idea next week. I recorded guitars, bass, keys, and lap steel on 8/11 songs on the record at my home studio, Ch?teau Blanco, and played keys and steel on those songs as well. I'm really proud of this; it was a great opportunity to immerse myself into an established Philly band as a sideman/extra sonics when they needed a little help and create something BIG.
